I was back in town for Halloween this past year and my parents and I decided to head to Roger Williams Park Zoo { http://rwpzoo.org/ } down in Rhode Island to see their yearly pumpkin display. My parents had gotten an "insider" tip that Halloween Night is the best/least crowded night to go - and it was! We got tickets and walked right through (wait times can be up to TWO HOURS on any given evening that the display is open!)
It was drizzling a bit and was quite cold, but totally worth it. Check out some of this serious pumpkin art:
