Way Out West..

or at least slightly West of Chicago.  I mean approximately 40 miles from the Iowa border there is a beautiful couple and some beautiful parks!  So we did an Engagement Session!  (and did I mention that they have $3.99/gal. gas out there too?!? compared to $4.80/gal. in the City)
They took me to the local marina where they got engaged and that is where we did the pictures!  Simple.  yet so amazing!  The park was well manicured and very nicely laid out.  And it lent itself to a river, which provided some sweet frames too!
We hit up a smaller park, closer to the interstate afterwards JUST for the Cherry Blossom trees!  It was totally worth it - stunning.

Babies & Mamas

I have a Wedding client this summer who is also a Doula.  She works at an amazing program in the Pilsen neighborhood of Chicago & acts as a type of birth coach for young mothers.
She invited me in to their final celebration to take some pictures for the girls...  AMAZING!  It was so much fun & I got to play with babies!  :-)

it's SPRING... and love is in the air

especially at this Engagement Session that I did over St. Patrick's Day weekend!  I'm pretty much obsessed with ALL of the final images from this session, so it was super hard to choose only a few for here...  but!  I did & now you can enjoy!
