You can't ask for much more.  I've known Amy for years, but just met her fiancee the day before the session.  Cougar is a breast cancer survivor (she's only 36) and overall AMAZING human being!  {  http://www.facebook.com/ChampionBreastCancerPhotoJourney } 
Amy & Cougar go together like peanut butter and jelly and they are going to have an awesome life together. Seriously.  Doing this session with them just reminded me and every person who passed by WHAT love is really all about.
I am sad that I can't be at their Wedding in September, but am planning to visit.  OFTEN!

Michaela & Nathan - Married

I had the honor of this AMAZING couple being my first wedding of the 2013 Season up in Milwaukee, WI.  and WOW!  I couldn't have asked for more!  From the uber-cute programs with stamped flags to wave (instead of throwing rice, ect) down to the pie (instead of cake!) - it was just perfect.  TONS of DIY everywhere, simplicity and retro vibes flowing & their love for each other... oh my!  It was palpable! 
I included just a ridiculous amount of photos with this post (which you can PIN!  yay for Pinterest!) so I think I'll let the pictures tell the story...

Katerina & Chris - Engaged

It was an AWESOME Engagement Session!  Centered around this amazing map that Katerina found at a pop-up art fair, we chose the stunning campus of University of Chicago down in Hyde Park.  We also included a few other things that they had found at local places over the last months, and all of it will be incorporated into their Wedding, so it will be so nice to see the same things again and just tie everything together.
It was cold, but fortunately, it was sunny - so we were able to get in a few outdoor shots before heading back inside to warm up.  Both Katerina & Chris were so much fun to work with and their session was just easy and natural.  I can't WAIT for their May Wedding!!!!  {which is on the same campus, so super-awesome-yay-funtime for me!}
