{ a Baby Shower! with no power! }

a Big Storm.  no electricity.  and one AWESOME baby shower!  When a large thunderstorm ripped through the Chicago suburbs just 45 min. before the beginning of the shower, we knew we might have trouble - or when there is hail the size of half dollars forcing the Photographer (me!) to pull over on the highway...that can also be an indicator it's going to be a rough day.
I made it to the golf course right on time and realized that they had no power (and no back up generator - which is why I'm NOT listing a link for them...) but thankfully we had a few hours of daylight and then I had to bust out the flash.  The DJ even hooked his gear into his car battery to get the party going!
The lights came back on with just minutes left in the party - still memorable!
