I've been working closely with Enrique & Cindy since day 1. I actually did some maternity and newborn photos for Cindy's place of work a while back and have loved working with her ever since. She is a Midwife (which I find amazing) and her clients are just great (and took some great photos too!)
Anyway, we did photos about a month before the Wedding so that they could make cardboard cutouts of themselves (in Wedding garb!) for their reception, knowing that they wouldn't have time to photos with all of their friends and family. Seriously GENIUS idea in my book...
Enrique asked all of his Groomsmen their favorite superhero characters and had custom cufflinks made for each of them - we then hit up an amazing mural in the Pilsen neighborhood here in Chicago solely dedicated to SUPERHEROS! When asked to "strike a superhero/manly pose", all the boys seemed to do some sort of squat... yea, many laughs were had! {also, Enrique had already ripped his pants by this point, it was after our bar excursion - so he didn't squat as far as the others...}
BEFORE the murals, we hit up Simone's, also in Pilsen, and everyone had a few rounds. The bar was so amazing and accommodating. I even did their ring photos on an empty bar area while we were there. It was a really great time for just the bridal party and a few close friends and cousins to hang out before all of the "official" family time started at the reception.
Anyways - I'm flapping my 'keyboard' an awful lot about this Wedding - I'll just let the images speak for themselves!
