We're on BOAT!

unfortunately we didn't end up going all that fast...
{ see Lonely Island reference }

We did end up going on Chicago's First Lady ( http://www.cruisechicago.com/ ) and taking an amazing trip up the Chicago River to start out the evening.  These boats are normally used for public architecture tours, ect...but can rented out for private functions including Weddings!
The captain parks the boat in a little nook on the Chicago River for the Ceremony amongst the dusk skyline and guests line the top of the boat.  The Bride walks down a raised center platform to meet her groom.  <-- this sounds like a movie!!  BUT!  it really happened!  :-)
After the formalities were complete, we all headed down below for a buffet dinner and open bar.  Simple.  Quiet. A toast was made.  Some photos were taken.
Then... the fun began!  We made our way our through the Chicago River locks (alongside a few other party boats) and out onto Lake Michigan (which was actually a little bit choppy!).  The Ceremony area on the top deck became a dance floor and everyone danced...all night!
After we docked around midnight we headed/stumbled (open bars will do that...) to the Michigan Ave. Bridge for a few fun photos before calling it a wrap.
I had heard that everyone was heading to the hotel bar after the photos....
